It's not my intention to continue adding self-voicing capabiliities to this viewer, but I did just throw together some code which announces gestures. This currently only works on your own avatar, but clearly it would be similar to announce (visual only) gestures and animations from other nearby users.
I've commited my code changes to the repository. Please let me know if you're able to use them as I haven't tested getting the code and building from scratch, and I'm also only commiting those changes that I think are needed, but I could very well be wrong.
